extraordinary general meeting of the Miramar Tramway Junction Land Company (Limited) held on 6th October, 1919, was confirmed as a special resolution at an extraordinary general meeting of the company held on 15th October, 1919:-
"That the company be wound up voluntarily."

FRANKLYN COUNTY COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
In the matter of the Counties Act, 1908, and the Public Works Act, 1908.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Franklin County Council proposes, under the provisions of the abovementioned Acts, to execute a certain public workβnamely, the construction of a road in Block IV, Maioro Survey District ; and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the said Council, situate at Hall Street, Pukekohe, and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands, who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands, must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers, Hall Street, Pukekohe.

APPROXIMATE area of parcels of land required to be taken :-

SUBSCRIPTIONS.--The subscription is at the rate of 33s. per annum, including postage, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than three months cannot be subscribed for.
Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line for the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertion.
Statements under the Mining Act are uniformly charged 23s.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 8 o'clock of the day preceding publication.
