Professional tipsters, persons convicted of house-breaking or pocket-picking, forgery, uttering or possessing counterfeit coin, theft, false pretences, receiving stolen goods, mischief, assault, or any offence or crime of any kind under the Crimes Act, 1908; and also idle and disorderly persons, rogues and vagabonds, and incorrigible rogues convicted under the Police Offences Act, 1908, and persons convicted of an offence under the Gaming Act, 1908.
The foregoing regulations of the Manawatu Racing Club were made and passed by the Manawatu Racing Club on the 21st day of August, 1919, and signed by the Chairman and Secretary.

KAWA DRAINAGE BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Kawa Drainage Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of five hundred pounds, being a supplementary loan of ten per cent., under the provisions of section 18 of the above-mentioned Act, on a loan of five thousand pounds, authorized to be raised by the said Kawa Drainage Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for constructing, deepening, widening, straightening, and otherwise improving drains and outfalls for the drainage of the Kawa Drainage District, including the purchase of all necessary land, buildings, plant, and materials, the said Kawa Drainage Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of three twenty-fourths of a penny in the pound on the rateable value of all land in the Kawa Drainage District classed as Class A under section 33 of the Land Drainage Act, 1908, and of two twenty-fourths of a penny in the pound on the rateable value of all land in such district classed as Class B under the said section; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the thirty-first day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

MANUKAU COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Manukau County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of £2,000, authorized to be raised by the Manukau County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for constructing approaches to new high-level bridge at Manurewa, the said Manukau County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 3/5ths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the special rating area comprising all that area of land at Manurewa being part Lot 4 and Lot 6 of part Clendon’s Grant, Lots 8 to 28 and 45 to 49 (inclusive) of Martin’s Estate, and Lot 7, Jellicoe Estate, as shown on plan deposited in the office of the said Council.
And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable annually on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

GONVILLE TOWN BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Gonville Town Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges and sinking fund on a special loan of £4,500, to be known as the Gonville Town Board Recreation Reserve Loan of £4,500, authorized to be raised by the Gonville Town Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of the purchase, development, improvements, and equipment for the purposes of enjoyment and recreation in the Gonville Town District of an area of approximately 39 acres, being part of what is known as the May Estate, and also such adjacent lands as may be conveniently used therewith for such purposes of enjoyment and recreation, the said Gonville Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of seven-sixteenths (7/16ths) of a penny in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Gonville Town District, comprising the whole of the Gonville Town District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 30th day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
