THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

Lands proclaimed as Roads, and Roads closed, in Block V,
Waro Survey District, Taranaki Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William
de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents
of the lessees and mortgagee of the lands described in the
First Schedule hereto, and of the Clifton County Council, being
the local authority in whose district the said lands are situated,
proclaim as roads the lands described in the said Schedule ;
and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid,
proclaim as closed the roads described in the Second Schedule
hereto, which are not required.
FIRST SCHEDULE.

Land proclaimed as a Road in Kanieri Survey District,
Westland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William
de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consent
of the Westland County Council, being the local authority
in whose district the land described in the Schedule hereto
is situated, proclaim as a road the land described in the
said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a
road : 2 acres O roods 25ยท5 perches.
Portion of Scenic Reserve 1177, Block VII, Kanieri Survey
District.
In the Westland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/176,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right

Revoking the Reservation over Portion of a Scenic Reserve in
the North Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by Proclamation dated the sixth day of
February, one thousand nine hundred and six, and
published in the New Zealand Gazette of the fifteenth day of
that month, certain land in the North Auckland Land Dis-
trict was taken for scenic purposes under the Scenery Pre-
servation Act, 1903 :
And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto
(being part of the land so taken) is no longer suitable for
scenic purposes, being open land :
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred
upon me by section eight of the Scenery Preservation Amend-
ment Act, 1910, do hereby revoke the reservation for scenic
purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, con-
taining by admeasurement 6 acres 2 roods, more or less, and
being part of Section 3, Block II, Omapere Survey District.
Bounded towards the north generally by the Pirau Stream ;
towards the south-east by part of Old Land Claim 15, 1045
links ; towards the south-west by the other part of Section 3,
Block II aforesaid, 1335.2 and 23 links : be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on plan
marked L. and S. 298, deposited in the Head Office, Depart-
ment of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged
red. (North Auckland plan No. 19924.)
