Additional Regulation made under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-second day of September, 1919.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the regulation set forth in the Schedule hereto, as an addition to the regulations made on the twentieth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, and published in Gazette of the twenty-second day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen.


SCHEDULE.

(28A.) THE costs and fees for the preparation and completion of mortgages for advances under paragraphs (a), (b), and (d) of subsection (1) of section 2 of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Amendment Act, 1917, shall be determined in accordance with Part I or Part II of the scale hereinafter set forth, as the case may require, and shall be paid by the mortgagor.

SCALE OF COSTS AND FEES FOR MORTGAGES.

Part I.—Mortgages under the Land Transfer Act, 1915.

Law-costs of perusing title, and of preparing, completing, and registering mortgage (exclusive of cash disbursements, if any),—

For advance not exceeding £750 .. .. .. £ s. d.

For advance exceeding £750, but not exceeding £1,500 .. .. .. 1 11 6

Provided that an extra fee of 5s. may be charged where a solicitor not residing in the registration centre employs an agent to register the mortgage.

Amending Trout-fishing Regulations for Rotorua Acclimatization District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-second day of September, 1919.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twenty-seventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-ninth day of the same month, regulations were made for trout-fishing in the Rotorua Acclimatization District: And whereas it is desirable to amend the said regulations:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by the Fisheries Act, 1908, and its amendments, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the said regulations of the twenty-seventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, by making the following additions to clauses three, five, and nine thereof:—

Clause 3.—Provided that the season for trout-fishing in the County of Whakatane shall open on the 1st day of October and close on the 30th day of April in each year.

Clause 5.—Add the words “Waikaretaheke River” after the words “Tahana-Atara Streams.”

Clause 9.—Provided that in respect of the County of Whakatane the dates 1st June and 31st October in line 3 shall be 1st May to 30th September.

Apportionment of Property and Liabilities between Tauranga and Bay of Plenty Hospital and Charitable Aid Boards.

LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-second day of September, 1919.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section one hundred and twenty-six, subsection six, of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies’ Empowering Act, 1917, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby determine that the property and liabilities as set out in Schedule A hereto, being part of the property and liabilities held by the Bay of Plenty Hospital and Charitable Aid Board on the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, shall become the property and liabilities of the Tauranga Hospital and Charitable Aid Board.

And doth further determine that the property and liabilities as set out in Schedule B hereto shall become the property and liabilities of the new Bay of Plenty Hospital and Charitable Aid Board, such property and liabilities being the property and liabilities of the Bay of Plenty Hospital and Charitable Aid Board on the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen.
