FIRST SCHEDULE.

AREA TO BE EXCLUDED FROM OHINEMURI COUNTY AND INCLUDED IN PIAKO COUNTY.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point in the centre of the Waihou River at the crossing of the Tahuna--Paeroa Road (in Block IV), Waiota Survey District; thence up the centre of that river to a point due west from Mount Te Aroha Trig. Station; thence along a right line in a due westerly direction to the south-east boundary of Hoe-o-Tainui South No. 4A Block; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern boundary of the said block and along the south boundaries of Sections 2, 3, 7, and Willis’s Grant, all in Block IX, Waiota Survey District, to the Piako River; thence to and down the centre of that river to the crossing of the Tahuna--Paeroa Road; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern side of that road to the Waihou River and point of commencement.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

PIAKO COUNTY.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded towards the north by a right line starting at a point (due west from Mount Te Aroha Trig. Station), on the “confiscation line” which forms the eastern boundary of Waikato County as described in New Zealand Gazette No. 111, of the 30th December, 1882, and running due east to the south-eastern boundary of Hoe-o-Tainui South No. 4A Block; thence towards the north-west by said south-east boundary of Hoe-o-Tainui South No. 4A Block, and towards the north by the south boundaries of Sections 2, 3, 7, and Willis’s Grant, all in Block IX, Waiota Survey District, to the Piako River; thence towards the north by last-named boundary produced to the centre of the Piako River; thence towards the west by a line running down the centre of that river to the Tahuna--Paeroa Road crossing; thence towards the north-west by south-east side of that road and its production to the centre of the Waihou River; thence towards the north-east by a line running up the centre of that river to the Borough of Te Aroha; thence towards the east, north, and west generally by that borough as described in Gazette No. 30, of the 28th May, 1898, and towards the north by a line running due east to Mount Te Aroha Trig. Station; thence towards the north-west by a line running north-east (towards Ngakuria-whare Trig. Station) to the western boundary of Tauranga Confiscation Block; thence towards the north-east by Tauranga County; thence towards the south-east generally by Matamata County as described in the Second Schedule to the Matamata County Act for 1908 to the aforementioned “confiscation line,” which forms the eastern boundary of Waikato County; thence towards the west generally by said “confiscation line” forming the eastern boundary of Waikato County as described in Gazette No. 111, of the 30th December, 1882, to the place of commencement: excepting from the hereinbefore described area the Morrinsville Town District.

OHINEMURI COUNTY.

All that area in the Auckland Land District bounded towards the north-east by the sea from the mouth of the Otahu River in Block XVI, Tairua Survey District, to the mouth of the Waihi Stream; thence towards the south-east by a right line to Mount Te Aroha Trig. Station; thence towards the south by a right line running due west to the eastern boundary of the Borough of Te Aroha as described in New Zealand Gazette No. 30, of the 28th May, 1898; thence towards the west, south, and east by that borough to a point on its western boundary in the Waihou River due west from Mount Te Aroha Trig. Station; thence towards the south generally by the Piako County hereinbefore described to a point on the south-west boundary of Hoe-o-Tainui South 4A Block due west of Mount Te Aroha Trig. Station; thence towards the south-west generally by a right line running north-west to Hapuakohe Trig. Station; thence towards the west generally by Sections 500 (forest reserve), 487, 484, 483 (scenic reserve), and 485, Taupiri Parish; again towards the south-west generally by Sections 456, 455, 454, 501, and 502, Whangamarino Parish, and Sections 3, Blocks X and XI, 2, Block XI, and 1, Blocks VII, X, and XI, Piako Survey District; again towards the south-west by a right line running to Rataroa Trig. Station to a point due west of the confluence of the Waihou River and Hikutaiā Stream; thence towards the north by a line running due east to said confluence and a line up the centre of the Hikutaiā Stream to the source of that stream nearest the source of the Otahu River; thence towards the north by a right line to the source of the said Otahu River; thence towards the north-west generally by a line running down the centre of the Otahu River to its mouth, being the place of commencement: excepting from the hereinbefore described area the boroughs of Waihi and Paeroa.

Altering Date of First Meeting of Tokomairiro River Board.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by Proclamation dated the eleventh day of September, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, the Tokomairiro River District, in the County of Bruce, was duly constituted:

And whereas by the said Proclamation it was declared that the first meeting of the Board of the said district should be held in the Bruce County Council Chambers, Milton, on Tuesday, the thirtieth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen:

And whereas it is desirable to alter the date of the said first meeting in manner hereinafter provided:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the River Boards Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that Saturday, the twenty-seventh day of September, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, at half past seven o’clock p.m., shall be the time, and the Bruce County Council Chambers, Milton, shall be the place, at which the first meeting of the members of the Board of the said Tokomairiro River District shall be held.

WHEREAS, in pursuance of section seventy-one of the Defence Amendment Act, 1912, certain portions of the Territorial Force were called out for active service by two Proclamations dated respectively the fourth day of August and the seventeenth day of August in the year one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, and issued on the occasion of war with Germany: And whereas hostilities with Germany have ceased:
