Appointments, Promotions, and Transfers of Officers on Active Service with the N.Z. Expeditionary Force.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the appointments, promotions, and transfers of the undermentioned officers on active service with the N.Z. Expeditionary Force (vide List No. 92, N.Z.E.F. Orders).
CANTERBURY MOUNTED RIFLES.
Lieutenant C. Deans, discharged in England, is struck off the strength of the N.Z.E.F. Dated 11th June, 1919.
WELLINGTON MOUNTED RIFLES.
Lieutenant (temp. Captain) R. S. Fossett, discharged in England, is struck off the strength of the N.Z.E.F. Dated 7th June, 1919.
N.Z. FIELD ARTILLERY.
Lieutenant (temp. Captain) F. M. Mitchell, M.C., relinquishes the temporary rank of Captain. Dated 7th May, 1919.
N.Z. ENGINEERS.
Field Companies.
Lieutenant G. W. Eaton-Turner, discharged in England, is struck off the strength of the N.Z.E.F. Dated 9th June, 1919.
2nd Lieutenant C. S. Beilby to be Lieutenant, under provisions of N.Z.E.F. Regulation 13. Dated 14th June, 1919.
CANTERBURY REGIMENT.
2nd Lieutenant J. D. McLeod, M.M., to be Lieutenant, under provisions of N.Z.E.F. Regulation 13. Dated 11th June, 1919.
2nd Lieutenant T. S. West is granted the temporary rank of Captain whilst holding the appointment of Quartermaster, 2nd Battalion. Dated 1st January, 1919.
The notice appearing in the New Zealand Gazette No. 88, of 17th July, 1919, relating to 2nd Lieutenant T. S. West, is cancelled, and the following substituted :-
2nd Lieutenant (temp. Captain) T. S. West to be Quartermaster, B Group, N.Z.E.F., Codford, vice Captain C. H. Booth, Auckland Regiment, returning to New Zealand for demobilization, and retains the temporary rank of Captain whilst so employed. Dated 1st April, 1919.
OTAGO REGIMENT.
Captain G. S. Collyns, M.C., discharged in England, is struck off the strength of the N.Z.E.F. Dated 21st May, 1919.
Lieutenant (temp. Captain) E. A. Horan ceases to be seconded for duty with the Royal Air Force, but retains the temporary rank of Captain. Dated 4th June, 1919.
The notice appearing in the New Zealand Gazette No. 107, of 28th August, 1919, relating to Lieutenant (temp. Captain) T. M. Sim, M.C., is cancelled.
N.Z. RIFLE BRIGADE.
2nd Lieutenant J. G. O'Connell, discharged in England, is struck off the strength of the N.Z.E.F. Dated 13th June, 1919.
Captain (temp. Major) H. E. Barrowclough, D.S.O., M.C., relinquishes the appointment of Assistant Director of Education, N.Z. Units in France and Germany, but retains the temporary rank of Major. Dated 16th May, 1919.
Lieutenant W. S. Dingle is granted the temporary rank of Captain whilst employed as a company commander, E Group, N.Z.E.F., Hornchurch (to date 8th April, 1919), and relinquishes the temporary rank on ceasing to be so employed. Dated 5th June, 1919.
N.Z. ARMY SERVICE CORPS.
2nd Lieutenant H. Armstrong, discharged in England, is struck off the strength of the N.Z.E.F. Dated 11th June, 1919.
Lieutenant R. Burn ceases to be seconded for duty with the Ministry of Munitions. Dated 1st June, 1919.
2nd Lieutenant (temp. Captain) N. Bell, M.B.E., to be Captain, to complete Establishment, Mechanical Transport Depot (U.K.). Dated 14th March, 1919.

Captain (temp. Lieutenant-Colonel) George Lyons, M.D., relinquishes the appointment of a member of a Special District Medical Board and the temporary rank of Lieutenant-Colonel. Dated 3rd January, 1919.
N.Z. ARMY NURSING SERVICE.
Sister Florence Winifred Murray (temp. Reserve List) is appointed for duty to Rotorua Military Hospital. Dated 14th August, 1919.
