Letters of Naturalization issued.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased
to issue letters of naturalization, under the Aliens
Act, 1908, in favour of the undermentioned person:—

Result of Election of a Member of the Petone, Feilding, and
Palmerston North Fire Boards by Fire-insurance Companies.

THE following result of the election of a member of the
Petone, Feilding, and Palmerston North Fire Boards
by fire-insurance companies has been reported to the
Minister of Internal Affairs, and is notified in accordance
with the rules made under the Fire Brigades Act, 1908.

Education Board of the District of Nelson.—Election of
Members to fill Extraordinary Vacancies.
IN accordance with the provisions of the Education Act,
1914, it is hereby notified that Mr. SAMUEL BIGGER
CANAVAN, of Motueka, being the only candidate nominated,
is elected a member of the Nelson Education Board for the
North Ward of the Rural Area, filling the vacancy caused by
the death of Mr. Thomas Symes.

caused by the resignation of Mr. David Joseph Williams was

IT is hereby notified for public information that, in terms
of the Stock Amendment Act, 1913, I have registered,
on behalf of the New Zealand Milking Shorthorn Association,
the mark “D.S.” (within an oval ring) as a stock-
breeders' association standard mark.
