of Feilding hereby resolve that the portion of Church Street
in the said borough fronting Sections 206 and 207, Town of
Feilding, deposited plan No. 19, be exempted from the pro-
visions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public
Works Act, 1918 ” :
And whereas it is deemed expedient that such resolution
should be approved :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the powers conferred by the above-in-part-recited Act, and
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the
said resolution.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of Church Street, in the Borough of Feilding,
fronting Sections 206 and 207, Town of Feilding, D.P. No. 19,
and railway reserve. As the said portion of street is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 46552,
and deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works
at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured red.

Prohibiting all Alienation of certain Native Land other than
Alienation in favour of the Crown.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase
Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-
three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the
power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His
Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby pro-
hibit, for the period of one year from the date of this Order
in Council, all alienation of the Native lands (or of any sub-
divisions thereof) specified in the Schedule hereto other than
alienation in favour of the Crown.

Recreation Reserve in Wellington Land District brought under
Part II of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this first day of
September, 1919.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by
the twenty-sixth section of the Public Reserves and
Domains Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl
of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare
that the reserve for recreation in the Wellington Land Dis-
trict described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same
is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to
be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act ; and
such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Eastbourne
Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as
a public domain.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing
by admeasurement 224 acres 1 rood 37 perches, more or less,
being Sections 38 and 40, Block I, Pencarrow Survey Dis-
trict, and part of Section 35, Block XVI, Belmont Survey
District. Bounded towards the north and west generally
by another part of Section 35 aforesaid, 3260, 737·4, and
1440 links ; and by Section 36, Block XVI aforesaid, 4200
links ; towards the east generally by Sections 45, 46, and 47,
Block I aforesaid, 1836, 1343, 600, and 2189·5 links ; and
towards the south and west generally by Sections 42 and 41,
Block I aforesaid, 4800 and 400 links, by another part of
Section 35 aforesaid, 1789·5 and 3270 links, and by Sections
37 and 39, Block I aforesaid, 100·6 links : be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan
marked L. and S. 1913/1183, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon
bordered red.

Rhodes Street, in the City of Wellington, exempted from the
Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this first day of
September, 1919.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by subsection one of section one hundred
and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is,
inter alia, provided that the said section shall not apply in
any case where the local authority having control of any
road or street by resolution declares that the provisions
thereof shall not apply to any specified road or street, or
any specified part thereof, and such resolution is approved
by the Governor-General in Council :
And whereas by subsection two of section one hundred
and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is provided
that such approval may be either absolute or subject to such
conditions with respect to the building-line as the Governor-
General, by Order in Council, thinks fit to impose :
And whereas the Wellington City Council, being the local
authority having control of the said street described in the
Schedule hereto, has passed the following resolution—viz.,
“ The Wellington City Council, being the local authority
having control of the streets in the City of Wellington, hereby
declares that the provisions of section one hundred and
seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1918, shall not apply to
Rhodes Street ” :
And whereas it is deemed expedient that such resolution
should be approved :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise
of the powers conferred by the above-in-part-recited Act,
and acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve
of the said resolution.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that street in the City of Wellington known as Rhodes
Street, situated between Riddiford Street and Daniel Street
in the said city. As the same is more particularly delineated
on the plan marked P.W.D. 46597, deposited in the office of
the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington
Land District, and thereon coloured red.
