Allocating Land reserved and taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Street in the City of Dunedin.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land taken for the purposes of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway, and it is considered desirable to allocate such land to the purposes of a street:
And whereas it has been certified by the Minister of Railways that such land is not required for railway purposes: And whereas such land is situated in the City of Dunedin, the local authority of which has assented to the issue of this Proclamation:
And whereas His Excellency the Governor-General is of opinion that the said local authority can conveniently construct and maintain the said street:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section one hundred and ninety-seven of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a street, and that the said street shall be under the control of the Dunedin City Council, and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

In the Otago Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked 10394 and W.R. 26045, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Member of His Majesty’s Most Honourable Privy Council, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Knight of Grace of the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this nineteenth day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and nineteen.

Additional Land at Morrinsville taken for the Purposes of the Waikato-Thames Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Waikato-Thames Railway to take further land at Morrinsville, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land: 12 perches and 4 perches.
Portions of Lots 8, D.P. 180, and 23, D.P. 2461, Motumaoho No. 2, Block VI, Maungakawa Survey District, Piako County. (S O 20255, blue.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 26491, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured red and blue.

Proclaiming Native Land to be Crown Land under Section 14 of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, it is provided, inter alia, that on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, the Governor-General may issue a Proclamation that such land has become Crown land:
And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority so conferred upon me by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land set out in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land.

PARIHAKA 11B Block: Approximate area, 100 acres; Cape Survey District.
