Land withdrawn from State forest Reservation

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the twenty-fourth
day of February, one thousand eight hundred and
eighty-six, and published in Gazette of the fourth day of
March, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six, certain
lands in Jacob's River Hundred, Southland Land District,
were, inter alia, set apart as and for State forests in terms
of the New Zealand State Forests Act, 1885:
And whereas the bush upon the land described in the
Schedule hereto (being part of the lands so set apart) has
been cut, and it is expedient that the said Proclamation
should be rescinded in so far as it relates to the land described
in the said Schedule:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise
of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section
twenty-eight of the State Forests Act, 1908, and of all other
powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, and
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby rescind the
Proclamation dated the twenty-fourth day of February,
one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six, hereinbefore
referred to, in so far as it relates to the lands described in the
Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT.
Description of Land proposed to be withdrawn from State
Forest.
ALL that area in the Southland Land District, containing
190 acres, more or less, being part of Block X, Oteramika
Hundred, and bounded commencing at the north-east corner of Sawmill Area 233B, Block X, Oteramika
Hundred; thence on the north by the county road, 935 links
scaled; thence on the north-east by the county road aforesaid, 6600 links scaled; thence on the south-east by road,
2060 links scaled; thence on the south by Sawmill Area
No. 234c, 3805 links; thence on the west by Sawmill Area
No. 233B aforesaid, 5411·4 links, to the point of commencement. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and
S. 52038, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands
and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Member of His Majesty's Most Honourable Privy Council, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Knight of Grace of the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-sixth day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and nineteen.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.
