Revoking the Prohibition of the Exportation of Postage Stamps.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this twenty-eighth day of January, 1919.
Present :
THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section forty-seven of the Customs Act, 1913, as extended by section twenty-four of the Regulation of Trade and Commerce Act, 1914, it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, by Order in Council gazetted, prohibit the exportation of any goods the prohibition of the exportation of which is in his opinion necessary in the public interest :
And whereas by Order in Council made on the thirteenth, and gazetted on the sixteenth, day of August, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, the exportation of postage stamps from the Dominion of New Zealand to any other destination than the United Kingdom and British possessions and protectorates was prohibited except with the consent of the Minister of Customs :
And whereas it is deemed expedient to revoke the aforesaid Order in Council :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the aforesaid Acts, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the aforesaid Order in Council made on the thirteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen.

Fixing Lighthouse Dues.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this twenty-first day of January, 1919.
Present :
THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the ninth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 163, of the twelfth day of the same month, it is enacted that certain lighthouse dues shall be collected on vessels arriving at the Port of Whakatane :
And whereas it is advisable to revoke the said scale of dues and to make another in lieu thereof :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by section two hundred and eighty-seven of the Shipping and Seamen Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the hereinbefore-recited Order in Council; and doth hereby order that the dues and rates specified in the Schedule hereto shall, on and from the ninth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, be collected on ships arriving at the Port of Whakatane.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this twenty-first day of January, 1919.
Present :
THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by subsection one of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is, inter alia, provided that the said section shall not apply in any case where the local authority having control of any road or street by resolution declares that the provisions thereof shall not apply to any specified road or street, or any specified part thereof, and such resolution is approved by the Governor-General in Council :
And whereas by subsection two of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is provided that such approval may be either absolute or subject to such conditions with respect to the building-line as the Governor-General, by Order in Council, thinks fit to impose :
And whereas the Riawaka Road Board, being the local authority having control of the portion of road, described in the Schedule hereto, has passed the following resolution—viz., “That the Riawaka Road Board declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to the public road known as Wharf Road, and running due east and west, and situate between Sections 27 and 52, Motueka Original, as shown on the public map of the Motueka District” :
And whereas it is deemed expedient that such resolution should be approved :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the above-in-part-recited Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the said resolution.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of Wharf Road, in the Nelson Land District, Riawaka Road District, situated between Sections 27 and 52, “Motueka Original.” As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 45232, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured yellow.
