DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto subsisting between ALBERT FREDERICK SMITH, JAMES ERNEST RULE, and GEORGE ROGERS, under the name or style of “Rule, Rogers, and Co.,” of Methven, Motor Engineers, has as from the first day of June, 1918, been dissolved by mutual consent; the said ALBERT FREDERICK SMITH and JAMES ERNEST RULE will liquidate all the liabilities as at that date, and will be entitled to receipt of the book debts. Dated this 28th day of June, 1918.

I, JOHN RAYMOND CUTHBERT, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, now residing in Timaru, hereby give notice that I intend applying on the 20th June next to have my name placed on the Medical Register of the Dominion of New Zealand; and that I have deposited the evidence of my qualification in the office of the Registrar of Births and Deaths at Christchurch.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a special general meeting of the above company duly convened and held at the office of Messrs. Hankins and Lockhart Fitzherbert on the 2nd day of July, 1918, the following special resolution was duly passed, and the company’s minutes embodying the same duly entered in the minute-book, and confirmed on the same day at the same place:—

“That the company go into voluntary liquidation; and that HERBERT FLINDERS GIBBONS, of Palmerston North, be and is hereby appointed Liquidator of the said company.”

COUNTY OF WHAKATANE.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

In the matter of the Counties Act, 1908; and in the matter of the Public Works Act, 1908.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Whakatane County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, a new road through Lot 13, Block 13, Whakatane Survey District; and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the Council Chambers at Whakatane, and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands, who have any well-grounded objections thereto, must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the Whakatane County Council Chambers, Whakatane.

This notice was first published in the Whakatane Press of the 8th day of July, 1918.
