ERRATUM.—In the Order in Council revoking the naturalization of certain enemy aliens, published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 81, of the 6th June, 1918, page 2122, for “Kirchner, Adolf Reinhold, 17th May, 1907,” read “Kirchner, Adolph Reinhold, 17th May, 1897.”

Revoking the Reservation over a Scenic Reserve in the Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by Proclamation dated the fifteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-second day of that month, the land described in the Schedule hereto was taken for scenic purposes under the Public Works Act, 1908, the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910:

And whereas the said land is no longer suitable for scenic purposes by reason of the partial destruction of the forest thereon and the difficulty of preserving the remaining forest, and it is desired to revoke the reservation and acquire other land more suitable for scenic purposes in lieu thereof:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by section eight of the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, do hereby revoke the reservation for scenic purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 74 acres 3 roods 10 perches, more or less, being Section 4, Block XI, Tokatoka Survey District. Bounded towards the north by a public road; towards the east by Section 23, Block XI aforesaid; towards the south by Section 21 of the said block; and towards the west by Section 5 of the said block.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Member of His Majesty’s Most Honourable Privy Council, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-eighth day of June, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eighteen.

Proclaiming Native Land to be Crown Land under Section 374 of the Native Land Act, 1909.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section three hundred and seventy-four of the Native Land Act, 1909 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), and by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, it is provided, inter alia, that, on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the said Act, the Governor-General may issue a Proclamation that such land has become Crown land:

And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the said Act:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section three hundred and seventy-four of the said Act, and by section fourteen of the
