Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.
REGULATION NO. 52.
THE Maori Land Board for the South Island Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Ngaruru No. 1 is summoned and will be held in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Waitara on Friday, the 5th day of July, 1918, at 12 o’clock noon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“That the said Ngaruru No. 1 Block be leased to Utiku Love, of Anatolia, Queen Charlotte Sound, in the Provincial District of Marlborough, an aboriginal Native of New Zealand, sheep-farmer, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per cent. per annum on the present Government valuation of the said land, together with the right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental of 5 per cent. per annum on the then unimproved Government valuation of the said land, or the right to compensation for all improvements of a permanent character.”
