NOTE.—Separate minimum loads (under one ton weight or measurement) from, or to, or between different places shall be paid for as full loads; but this shall not apply to any loads over one ton weight or measurement, which shall be paid for in proportion—e.g., 25 cwt. = 1¼ loads; 30 cwt. = 1½ loads; 35 cwt. = 1¾ loads. Where the Storekeeper’s order specifies the weight or measurement of the material, or states the number of loads, or specifies per hour or per day, such order shall be the basis of payment under the contract.
