Establishment of Coal Trade District and Committee.
LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
IN pursuance of the authority conferred by the regulations made on the fifth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, under the War Regulations Amendment Act, 1916 (and known as the Coal Trade Regulations), as amended by further regulations made under the like authority on the twenty-eighth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand doth hereby constitute the following coal trade district for the purposes of the said Coal Trade Regulations, that is to say:β
The Dunedin Coal Trade District: Comprising the City of Dunedin, the counties of Waitaki, Vincent, Maniototo, Waihemo, Waikouaiti, Taieri, Tuapeka, Bruce, and Clutha; and all boroughs and town districts included within the exterior boundaries of the said counties.
And doth hereby appoint for the Dunedin Coal District a Coal Trade Committee, to be known as the Dunedin Coal Trade Committee, consisting of the following persons, namely:β
ROBERT LEE, Esquire.
ALLAN PRESHAM BREMNER, Esquire.
ARTHUR JOSEPH ALLEN, Esquire.
ALFRED BRUCE JOHNSTON, Esquire.
And doth hereby appoint ROBERT LEE, Esquire, as the Chairman of the said Committee.
And doth hereby declare that this Warrant shall take effect on the day after the publication thereof in the Gazette.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand, this seventh day of May, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen.
