Extending Prohibition of Alienation of certain Native Lands other than Alienations in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this thirtieth day of April, 1918.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a further period of six months the Order in Council dated the twenty-first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, and gazetted the thirty-first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, prohibiting all alienations of the lands specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienations in favour of the Crown.

The Education Act, 1914.—Amendments in the Regulations for Training Colleges.

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this thirtieth day of April, 1918.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the Education Act, 1914, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the amendment shown in the Schedule hereto in the regulations in force for training colleges; and doth prescribe that this Order shall come into force on the date of the first publication thereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
SCHEDULE.
CLAUSE 7 (2) (v) is hereby amended by the addition of the words “or to such greater number as the Minister may approve.”

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the twenty-sixth section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Otago Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Owaka Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain.

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods, more or less, being part of Section No. 3, Block VIII, Glenomaru Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by railway reserve, 214 links, bearing
