WELLINGTON, MONDAY, APRIL 29, 1918.

Military Service Act, 1916.—Warrant constituting an Additional Military Service Board and appointing the Members thereof.

LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.

I, ARTHUR WILLIAM DE BRITO SAVILE, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance of the authority conferred upon me in that behalf by section nineteen of the Military Service Act, 1916, do hereby constitute and establish for the purposes of that Act an additional Military Service Board, to be known and distinguished as the Native Military Service Board.

And, in pursuance of the like authority, I do hereby appoint as the members of the said Board the following persons, to hold office during my pleasure, to wit:—

Charles Edward MacCormick, Esquire, of Auckland, Judge of the Native Land Court (who shall be the Chairman of the said Board);
John Ormsby, Esquire, of Otorohanga; and
Pitiera Taipua, Esquire, of Otaki.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this twenty-seventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen.
