Amending the Regulations under the Surveyors’ Institute and Board of Examiners Act, 1908.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by section 17 of the Surveyors’ Institute and Board of Examiners Act, 1908, the Surveyors’ Board doth hereby amend the regulations dated the 30th day of July, 1913, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 7th day of August, 1913,—

(1.) By deleting from regulation 14 the words after the third line as follows:—

“(1.) Mathematics.

“Plane and spherical trigonometry, geometry, algebra, as far as these subjects are applicable to surveying.”

(2.) By deleting the whole of regulation No. 15, with its heading.

(3.) By deleting from regulation 16 (1) the fourth line thereof as follows: “2. Elementary mathematics, 75.”

(4.) By the consequential reduction of the total 625 in the said regulation 16 (1) to 550.

And the Surveyors’ Board doth hereby declare that such amendments shall come into force on the 1st day of January, 1919.

Award of Colonial Auxiliary Forces Long-service Medal.
