Land taken for Scenic Purposes in Block V, Mangatoro Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, for scenic purposes in Block V, Mangatoro Survey District:
And whereas an agreement has been entered into, in terms of section twenty-seven of the Public Works Act, 1908, to take such land for scenic purposes:
And whereas a plan has been prepared, and the Minister has recommended the Governor-General to issue a Proclamation taking the said land, as required by the Public Works Act, 1908:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, and being satisfied of the sufficiency of the agreement hereinbefore referred to, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for scenic purposes; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-seventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen.

SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 19 acres 1 rood 30 perches.
Being part of Lot 2 on D.P. 2785, portion of Mangatoro 1a 3r Block (to be known hereafter as Section 21), Block V, Mangatoro Survey District (Hawke’s Bay R.D.).
In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 43961, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Member of His Majesty’s Most Honourable Privy Council, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this fifteenth day of April, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eighteen.

Land taken for a Portion of the Picton–Hurunui Railway (Portion of the Blind River Section).

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken for a portion of the Picton–Hurunui Railway (portion of the Blind River Section):
And whereas all the conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been observed and performed:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a portion of the said line of railway hereinbefore specified.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 3 acres 0 roods 9 perches.
Portion of Section 18, situated in Block XIV, Clifford Bay Survey District (Marlborough R.D.).
In the Marlborough Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 19204 (sheet 3), deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured blue.

And whereas all the conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been observed and performed:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a portion of the said line of railway hereinbefore specified.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 43528 (sheet 3), deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured light brown.
