RESOLUTION.
THE following regulations were laid before the members of
the Foxton Racing Club at a meeting held on the 28th
day of August, 1916, at Foxton, with a recommendation by
the Chairman of the Club, Mr. J. R. Whyte, that the same
be passed at once with a view to their approval by the
Governor-General, in pursuance of the Gaming Act, 1908,
section 33.
Mr. J. R. Whyte, the Chairman of the Club and the
Meeting, moved, and Mr. H. G. Hammond seconded, and
it was resolved, that such regulations should be adopted, and
that the Chairman be authorized to sign the same in authentication thereof.
The following are the regulations referred to:—
FOXTON RACING CLUB.
REGULATIONS.
(Under the Gaming Act, 1908.)
In pursuance and exercise of the powers in that behalf contained in section 33 of the Gaming Act, 1908, and of all other
powers and authorities enabling in that behalf, the Foxton
Racing Club, a racing club within the meaning of the said
Act (hereinafter referred to as “the said club”), doth hereby
make the following regulations controlling the admission of
persons to that part of the Foxton Racecourse Reserve situate
at Foxton, set apart for racing purposes, and known as
the Foxton Racecourse, while the said racecourse is used or
occupied by the said club for race meetings.

In these regulations the words “bookmaker,” “racing
club,” and “race meeting” shall have the meanings ascribed
to those terms by section 2 of the Gaming Act, 1908. -
The following persons shall be and are hereby excluded
from the part of the said Foxton Racecourse Reserve while
the same is used or occupied by the said club for a race
meeting, namely,—
(a.) Bookmakers.
(b.) All persons under disqualification inflicted by any
racing club in the Dominion of New Zealand, the
Commonwealth of Australia, or elsewhere, if affiliated
to the New Zealand Racing Conference.
(c.) Common prostitutes, and persons who habitually consort with thieves or with persons who have no lawful visible means of support.
The foregoing regulations of the Foxton Racing Club were
made and passed by the said club on the 28th day of
August, 1916, and signed by the Chairman and Secretary.

hereby approved this 15th day of January, 1918.

of the Greymouth Trotting Club at a meeting held on
the 17th day of September, 1917, at Greymouth, with a
recommendation by the Chairman of the Club, Mr. H. W.
Kitchingham, that the same be passed at once with a view
of their approval by the Governor-General, in puruance of the
Gaming Act, 1908, section 33.
Mr. H. C. Harley, the Chairman of the Meeting, moved, and
Mr. D. McKay seconded, and it was resolved, that such regulations should be adopted, and that the Chairman be authorized to sign same in authentication thereof.
The following are the regulations referred to:—
GREYMOUTH TROTTING CLUB.
REGULATIONS.
(Under the Gaming Act, 1908.)
In pursuance and exercise of the powers in that behalf contained in section 33 of the Gaming Act, 1908, and of all other
powers and authorities enabling it in that behalf, the Greymouth Trotting Club, a racing club within the meaning of
the said Act (hereinafter referred to as “the said club”),
doth hereby make the following regulations controlling the
admission of persons to that part of the club property situate
in the District of Westland, and known as the Victoria Park,
whilst the said Victoria Park is used or occupied by the said
club for race meetings.

In these regulations the words “bookmaker,” “racing
club,” and “race meeting” shall have the meanings ascribed
to those terms by section 2 of the Gaming Act, 1908. -
The following persons shall be and are hereby excluded
from the racecourse above described while the same is used
or occupied by the said club for a race meeting, namely,—
(a.) Bookmakers.
(b.) All persons under disqualification inflicted by any
racing club in the Dominion of New Zealand, the
Commonwealth of Australia, or elsewhere, if affiliated
to the New Zealand Trotting Conference.
(c.) Common prostitutes, and persons who habitually consort with thieves or with persons who have no
lawful visible means of support.
The foregoing regulations of the Greymouth Trotting Club
were made and passed by the Greymouth Trotting Club on
the 17th day of September, 1917, and signed by the Chairman
and Secretary.

day of November, 1915, at Reefton, with a recommendation
by the Chairman of the Club, Mr. James Stevenson, that the
same be passed at once with a view to their approval by the
Governor-General, in pursuance of the Gaming Act, 1908, section 33.
Mr. James Stevenson, the Chairman of the Club and the
Meeting, moved, and Mr. B. P. McMahon seconded, and it
was resolved, that such regulations should be adopted, and
that the Chairman be authorized to sign the same in authentication thereof.
The following are the regulations referred to:—
REEFTON JOCKEY CLUB.
REGULATIONS.
(Under the Gaming Act, 1908.)
In pursuance and exercise of the powers in that behalf contained in section 33 of the Gaming Act, 1918, and of all other
powers and authorities it enabling in that behalf, and with
the approval of the Governor-General, the Reefton Jockey
Club, a racing club within the meaning of the said Act
(hereinafter referred to as “the said club”), oth hereby
make the following regulations controlling the admission of
persons to that part of the freehold ground situate in the
District of Greymouth, and known as the Reefton Racecourse, while the said racecourse is used or occupied by the
said club for race meetings.

In these regulations the words “bookmaker,” “racing
club,” and “race meeting” shall have the meanings ascribed
to those terms by section 2 of the Gaming Act, 1908. -
The following persons shall be and are hereby excluded
from the racecourse above described while the same is used
or occupied by the said club for a race meeting, namely,—
(a.) Bookmakers.
(b.) All persons under disqualification inflicted by any
racing club in the Dominion of New Zealand, the
Commonwealth of Australia, or elsewhere, if affiliated
to the Racing Conference of New Zealand.
(c.) Common prostitutes, and persons who habitually consort with thieves or with persons who have no

of November, 1915, and signed by the Chairman and Secretary.

5th day of October, 1917, at Wyndham, with a recommendation by the Chairman of the Club, Mr. E. J. Traynor, that
the same be passed at once with a view to their approval
by the Governor-General, in pursuance of the Gaming Act,
1908, section 33.
Mr. Traynor, the Chairman of the Club at the meeting,
moved, and Mr. McClinchey seconded, and it was resolved,
that such regulations should be adopted, and that the
Chairman be authorized to sign the same in authentication
thereof.
The following are the regulations referred to:—
