273 Pursuant to the provisions of section 24 of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1916, it is hereby notified that a sitting of the Native Land Court will be held at Rotorua on the 16th day of April, 1918, to inquire into and report upon the claims and allegations made in the following petitions to Parliament, as directed by the said section:—
Petition No. 143, of 1915, by Rota Tumehe Honia, praying for an inquiry re succession to interest of Te Raihi te Uru, deceased, in Mangorewa-Kaharoa No. 6m Block.
Petition No. 116, of 1913, by Waireti te Aohinga Taekata and four others, praying that rents retained by the Government re Te Haka No. 7 and Tapuae Blocks be paid to them.
274 Pursuant to the provisions of section 26 of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1916, notice is hereby given that the Court sitting at Rotorua on the 16th day of April, 1918, will proceed to make the inquiry, authorized by subsection (1) of the said section 26, with respect to the interests of Hamiora Matahera Paretata, Rirituku te Puehu, and Ereahara Wetera in Section 1, Blocks IV and VII, Waihi South Survey District (portion of Matata, Lot 63), and to thereafter make such cancellations or alterations required to bring the succession orders up to date.
