IN accordance with the provisions of section 41 of the Land Act, 1908, and the regulations made thereunder, I, Harry May Skeet, Commissioner of Crown Lands, as Returning Officer for the election of a member of the Auckland Land Board, do hereby declare the result of the poll taken on the 13th day of March, 1918, to be as follows:—

Sale of Unclaimed Property.

Notice to Mariners.—No. 19 of 1918.

NAPIER HARBOUR.—AUCKLAND ROCK LIGHT-BUOY.

Marine Department,
Wellington, N.Z., 15th March, 1918.

THE Napier Harbour Board have notified that the temporary light on the Auckland Rock buoy has been replaced by the original unwatched red flashing light shown from a black can buoy on west side of Auckland Rock. The light shows 0·3 second of light and 2·7 seconds of darkness.

Charts, &c., affected.—Admiralty Charts Nos. 2513 and 2528; “New Zealand Pilot,” eighth edition, 1908, Chapter iv, page 133; “New Zealand Nautical Almanac,” 1918, page 278.

NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of the above Act and the regulations made thereunder, every person and company within the meaning of the said Act, being owner of land in New Zealand, is hereby required to make and furnish to me, in the prescribed form, returns of such land as at 12 o’clock noon on the 31st day of March, 1918.
