of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a
further period of eighteen months the Order in Council dated
the sixteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and
sixteen, and gazetted the nineteenth day of October, one
thousand nine hundred and sixteen, prohibiting all alienations
of the Native land specified in the Schedule hereto other than
alienations in favour of the Crown.

day of March, 1918.

IN COUNCIL.

ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase
Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-
three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the
power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, and
by section one hundred and eleven of the Native Land Amend-
ment Act, 1913 (as amended by section eight of the Native
Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act,
1916), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for
a further period of eighteen months the Order in Council
dated the second day of October, one thousand nine hundred
and sixteen, and gazetted the fifth day of October, one
thousand nine hundred and sixteen, prohibiting all alienations
of the Native land specified in the Schedule hereto other than
alienations in favour of the Crown.

Licensing Donald Banks McIntyre to use and occupy a Part
of the Foreshore and Land below Low-water Mark of Orira
Creek, Hokianga Harbour, as a Site for a Wharf.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this eleventh
day of March, 1918.

Present :

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING
IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS, there being no Harbour Board empowered
to grant the license hereinafter mentioned, under the
Harbours Act, 1908 (hereinafter called “the said Act”),
Donald Banks McIntyre, of Umawera (hereinafter called “the
licensee”), has applied to the Governor-General in Council
for a license under the said Act to use and occupy a part of
the foreshore and land below low-water mark of Orira Creek,
Hokianga Harbour, as shown marked No. 2 on plan marked
M.D. 4881, and deposited in the office of the Marine Depart-
ment at Wellington, in order to erect and maintain a wharf
thereon :

And whereas it has been made to appear to the Governor-
General in Council that the proposed work will not be or tend
to the injury of navigation, and the said plan marked M.D.
4881 has, prior to the making of this Order in Council, been
approved of by the Governor-General in Council :

And whereas it is desirable that a license under the said
Act, for the purpose aforesaid, should be granted and issued
to the licensee for the term and subject to the conditions herein-
after expressed :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise
of the power and authority vested in him by the said Act,
and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that
behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve
of the purpose or object for which the said license is required
by the licensee as aforesaid; and, in further pursuance and
exercise of the said power and authority, and with the like
advice and consent as aforesaid, doth hereby license and permit
the licensee to use and occupy that part of the foreshore and
land below low-water mark adjacent thereto necessary for the
maintenance of the said wharf, such license to be held and
enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and
conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
