Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of February, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eighteen.

Stopping a Government Road in Block XXII, Waiau Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by paragraph (c) of section one hundred and thirty-three of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, by Proclamation publicly notified, stop or alter the course of any Government road or any part thereof:
And whereas the Government road described in the Schedule hereto is no longer required for the purpose of a road:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim as stopped the road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of road hereby stopped:—

Situated in Block XXII, Waiau Survey District.
In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 43496, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.
