Notice as to Men called up under the Military Service Act, 1916, for Service with the New Zealand Expeditionary Force.

WHEREAS the men referred to in the Schedule hereto were duly selected by lot under the Military Service Act, 1916, from the First Division of the Expeditionary Force Reserve for service with the New Zealand Expeditionary Force, but were not called up for such service by reason of the fact that they were included in a list of men supposed to be already members of the Expeditionary Force or to be dead: And whereas it has been ascertained that those men were included in error in the aforesaid list, and should have been called up for service with the Expeditionary Force pursuant to the said Act:

Now, therefore, in pursuance of the provisions of section 10 of the said Act, I, James Allen, the Minister of Defence for the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the men referred to in the Schedule hereto are called up for service with the New Zealand Expeditionary Force.

Dated this 18th day of February, 1918.
