Native Land Act, 1909.
REGULATION No. 52.
THE Maori Land Board for the Ikaroa Maori Land
District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners
of Kopuaranga, Block 9, Section 60, Sub. 2B, is summoned
and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native
Land Act, 1909, at Masterton on Friday, the 8th day of
March, 1918, at 12 o’clock noon, for the purpose of con-
sidering the following proposed resolution:—
“ That a lease of the said land be granted to Messrs. Dono-
van Brothers, of Kopuaranga (the present occupiers), for a
term of twenty-one years at a rental of not less than 5 per
centum per annum per acre of the Government valuation
per acre of the said land for the first seven years of the said
term, and for the following seven years of the said term at
the yearly rental of not less than 5 per centum per acre of
the Government valuation of the said land at the expiration
of seven years from the commencement of the said term, and
for the remaining seven years of the said term at the yearly
rental of not less than 5 per centum per acre per annum of
the Government valuation per acre of the said land at the
expiration of fourteen years from the commencement of the
said term. The lessee to pay rates, taxes, insurances, and all
outgoings except landlord’s tax.”
