Lieutenant R. F. Vial, from Orderly Officer, 3rd N.Z.F.A. Brigade, to be Adjutant, 3rd N.Z.F.A. Brigade, vice Captain J. W. Smeaton, and is granted the acting rank of Captain whilst so employed. Dated 31st August, 1918.

Captain R. McPherson, M.C., relinquishes the appointment of Adjutant, N.Z.F.A. Reserve Depot, sick, to date 31st August, 1918; and, having been declared by a Medical Board to be unfit for general service within twelve months, is seconded under provisions of N.Z.E.F. Regulation 34. Dated 3rd September, 1918.

Field Companies.

Major B. L. R. Reeve, having been absent from his unit off duty for four months, is seconded, under provisions of N.Z.E.F. Regulation 34, to date 13th August, 1918, and, having been declared by a Medical Board to be fit for general service, ceases to be seconded. Dated 27th August, 1918.

Captain N. Annabell, M.C., relinquishes the appointment of Adjutant, N.Z. Divisional Engineers, and is promoted to be Major, vice Major B. L. R. Reeve, seconded. Dated 13th August, 1918.

Signal Services.

Major H. M. Edwards, D.S.O., R.E., rejoined the British Army, is struck off the strength of the N.Z.E.F. Dated 1st September, 1918.

Lieutenant L. G. Michaels, M.M., is placed on the N.Z. Roll. Dated 6th September, 1918.

Major H. C. Mackenzie, M.C., to be O.C., N.Z.E.F. Signal Services, vice Major H. M. Edwards, D.S.O., R.E. (rejoined British Army), and retains the appointment of O.C., N.Z. Divisional Signal Company. Dated 1st September, 1918.

Tunnelling Company.

Lieutenant G. S. Collyns, M.C., is transferred to Otago Regiment. Dated 15th September, 1918.

Lieutenant N. Lawn is placed on the N.Z. Roll. Dated 6th September, 1918.

AUCKLAND REGIMENT.

2nd Lieutenant T. J. Gordon, D.C.M., is transferred from Canterbury Regiment, with seniority next before 2nd Lieutenant P. E. Calame, M.M. Dated 12th September, 1918.
