Notice published pursuant to the Provisions of Section 15 of the Public Trust Office Act, 1908, and Sections 18 and 19 of the Public Trust Office Amendment Act, 1913.
NOTICE is hereby given that, no person having taken out administration, the Public Trustee has filed in the Supreme Court at Wellington an election to administer the several estates of the persons deceased whose names, residences, and occupations (so far as known) are hereunder respectively set forth, their gross properties being estimated not to exceed £400 in each case.

THE following notice, which has been received from the Naval Adviser, is published for the information of shipowners and others concerned.

Wellington, 30th November, 1918.
In view of the recently established facilities for wireless communication between shipowners in New Zealand and ships at sea, the Naval Adviser desires to notify to all concerned that shipowners should take any steps considered necessary by them to be informed of any maritime disaster happening to their vessels in the waters surrounding New Zealand, and should no longer rely upon being acquainted with such matters by the local Naval authorities, who have necessarily been the channel of such communications until now.
It is further notified that the Naval Adviser’s Office and the Naval Intelligence Office will, in the near future, observe ordinary Government working-hours, and that neither office will be open continuously as hitherto.

HOKIANGA RIVER EXTENSION.—BAR CHANGES.

NOTICE No. 71, of November, 1918, should read: The channel on the bar at the Hokianga River entrance has altered to the northward, and now carries a depth on the bar of 18 ft. with the flagstaff bearing 91° (N. 76° E. magnetic). Charts, &c., affected.—Admiralty Charts Nos. 1091 and 2525; “New Zealand Pilot,” eighth edition; 1908, Chapter vii, page 201; “New Zealand Nautical Almanac,” 1918, page 451, and page 453 of 1919 Almanac.
