Fixing the Maximum Prices of Oranges and Lemons.

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this fourteenth day of November, 1918.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Regulation of Trade and Commerce Act, 1914, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of that Dominion, doth hereby fix, in accordance with the provisions of the Schedule hereto, the maximum retail prices of oranges and lemons respectively within the City of Wellington and the Boroughs of Hutt, Petone, Onslow, Miramar, and Karori.
SCHEDULE.
THE maximum retail price of oranges and lemons of the best quality within the City of Wellington and the Boroughs of Hutt, Petone, Onslow, Miramar, and Karori shall be 3d. for each orange or lemon; and the maximum retail prices within the aforesaid districts of oranges and lemons of a quality inferior to the best quality shall be the standard prices of oranges and lemons of the same quality as on the 1st day of November, 1918.

WHEREAS by the Regulation of Trade and Commerce Act, 1914, it is provided that at any time when His Majesty is at war with any foreign Prince or State it shall be lawful for the Governor-General, whenever he deems it necessary in the public interest so to do, by Warrant under his hand, to authorize and direct any person to whom
