WAIKOHU COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING A SPECIAL RATE, MADE ON 11TH DAY OF OCTOBER, 1918.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Waikohu County Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £600, authorized to be raised by the Waikohu County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for erecting a bridge over the Koranga River, the said Waikohu County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 3/8ths of one penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Koranga Bridge Special Rating Area, comprising Sections 3, 4, and 5, Tahora 2 No. 2c 3; Lot 2, Tahora 2 No. 2c 3; Section 2, Block I, Ngatapa; S.G.R. 91 (half only). And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

KAITIEKE COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING A SPECIAL RATE AT AN ORDINARY MEETING HELD ON THE 7TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1918.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Kaitieke County Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,500, authorized to be raised by the Kaitieke County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of reforming and metalling portion of the main road, Raurimu Township, the said Kaitieke County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of fourpence in the pound upon the rateable value (being the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Raurimu Township Special Rating Area, comprising, inter alia, the Township of Raurimu, and being the rateable properties within the following boundaries :—
Commencing at the junction of the Arline Stream with the Piopiotea Stream, and following the Arline Stream to the North Island Main Trunk Railway line; thence by such railway-line in a north-easterly direction, and crossing same by a right angle to the northern corner of Section 15, Block X, said township, and to the eastern side of the main service road; thence south-easterly by such road to the north-eastern corner of Section 14, Block XI, said township; thence by the eastern boundary of Block XI aforesaid to the said main service road; thence by such road in an easterly direction for approximately a distance of twelve chains; thence by a straight line at right angles to such road to the said Arline Stream; thence by such stream in a westerly direction to the main road, Raurimu Township; thence by such road in a south-westerly direction to the said railway-line; thence by such railway-line in a southerly direction to a point produced by a straight line from the southern boundary of Lot 2, part Railway Reserve (occupied by one B. L. Knight); thence by such produced line to and along the said southern boundary of said Lot 2 to the said Piopiotea Stream; thence following such stream generally in a northerly direction to its junction with the said Arline Stream, being the point of commencement.
And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until such loan is fully paid off.
I, Leonard Stanley Ford, Chairman of the Kaitieke County Council, do hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Kaitieke County Council on the 7th day of September, 1918.
