Appointments, Promotions, Resignations, and Transfers of Officers of the Territorial Force.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the appointments, promotions, resignations, and transfers of the undermentioned officers of the Territorial Force, and the reposting of officers from the N.Z. Expeditionary Force to the Territorial Force.
APPOINTMENTS.
Lieutenant-Colonel Ernest Edward Porritt, M.D., N.Z. Medical Corps, is appointed President of the C2 Re-examination Board, under the provisions of the Military Service Act, 1916. Dated 7th September, 1918.
Lieutenant (temp. Captain) William Brouncker Powlett Thring relinquishes the appointment of Staff Officer to Coast Defence Commander, dated 27th July, 1918, and retains the temporary rank of Captain until embarkation for service overseas.
Captain Gavin Melville Abbot, 4th (Waikato) Mounted Rifles (temporarily attached to the N.Z. Army Pay Department), relinquishes the appointment of Camp Paymaster, Feathers-ton Military Camp, and is appointed Command Paymaster (temp.), Canterbury Military District. Dated 4th September, 1918.
Honorary Lieutenant Ernest James Browning, N.Z. Permanent Staff, performed the duties of Assistant Adjutant-General, Auckland Military District, from 6th July, 1918, to 5th September, 1918, and is confirmed in the appointment as from the latter date.
