AUCKLAND MOUNTED RIFLES.

13/2181, Sergeant H. W. Dunbar to be 2nd Lieutenant. Dated 13th October, 1917.

Memorandum.

Major H. S. Whitehorn temporarily commanded the N.Z. Training Units and Depots in Egypt from 22nd July, 1917, to 8th October, 1917.

CANTERBURY MOUNTED RIFLES.

Captain F. Gorton to be Major. Dated 9th August, 1917.
7/1030, R.S.M. O. H. Bremner to be 2nd Lieutenant. Dated 13th October, 1917.

Memoranda.

Lieutenant-Colonel J. Findlay, C.B., D.S.O., temporarily commanded the N.Z. Mounted Rifles Brigade from 2nd September, 1917, to 1st October, 1917.
Major P. M. Acton-Adams, D.S.O., temporarily commanded the regiment from 12th September, 1917, to 1st October, 1917.
Captain D. T. Wood carried out the duties of Commandant, Headquarters, N.Z. Expeditionary Force in Egypt, from 3rd June, 1917, to 10th August, 1917.

Lieutenant R. F. R. Beetham, having been absent off duty for four months, is seconded under provisions of N.Z. Expeditionary Force Regulation 34. Dated 18th October, 1917.

Captain J. G. McKenzie ceases to be seconded for duty at N.Z. Field Artillery Reserve Depot, and is placed on the N.Z. Roll. Dated 1st November, 1917.
