Captain A. A. McNab is granted the temporary rank of Major, vice Major D. J. Gibbs, D.S.O., to England on duty, to date from 14th May, 1918, and relinquishes the temporary rank on transfer to the N.Z. Rifle Brigade. Dated 23rd May, 1918.

Lieutenant W. S. Rae is granted the temporary rank of Captain, vice Captain A. A. McNab granted temporary rank of Major. Dated 14th May, 1918.

TUNNELLING COMPANY.

Lieutenant H. C. Shannon is seconded for duty to New Zealand. Dated 30th May, 1918.

Lieutenant A. Oakey, declared by a Medical Board to be unfit for general service within twelve months, is seconded under provisions of N.Z.E.F. Regulation 34. Dated 30th May, 1918.

Captain F. E. Beamish relinquishes the appointment of Quartermaster, N.Z. Command Depot, but remains seconded whilst employed as Second in Command, N.Z. Command Depot, vice Major B. S. Jordan, Canterbury Regiment, accidentally killed. Dated 29th May, 1918.
