Importation of Goods into the United States.

ADVERTING to the notice dated 17th July, 1918, published in the New Zealand Gazette of 18th July, 1918, it is now notified for general information that, in accordance with information received, the only goods which should be consigned to a trade association instead of direct to United States importers are the following, which should be consigned to the American Diamond Committee, New York:—
Diamonds, polished or rough, including tops, ends, and other parts, also rough industrial board powder carbon.
Dies and tools set with diamonds, rubies, or sapphires.
Platinum, crude or refined, sponge, gauze, chloride, and scrap.
Finished manufactures of platinum or iridium or alloys thereof.
Ingot, sheet and wire iridium, osmiridium, palladium, rhodium, or ruthenium.
Applications for permission to export any of the above are to be addressed to the Comptroller of Customs, Wellington.

Revoking Appointments of Post Officers to take Statutory Declarations of Postmasters and other Post Officers.

IN pursuance of the powers delegated to me under section 8, clause (d), of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908, I, William Donald Stuart MacDonald, Acting Postmaster-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the warrants issued under the authority conferred by section 9, subsection (2), of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908, dated the 18th day of June, 1913, the 16th day of August, 1915, the 7th day of August, 1916, and the 9th day of February, 1917, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 3rd day of July, 1913, the 19th day of August, 1915, the 10th day of August, 1916, and the 15th day of February, 1917, respectively, in so far as they appoint the following Post officers to take statutory declarations of Postmasters and other Post officers; and do hereby order that, except as altered by this warrant and previous warrants of similar import, the said warrants of the 18th day of June, 1913, the 16th day of August, 1915, the 7th day of August, 1916, and the 9th day of February, 1917, shall continue in full force and effect:—
