A PPLICATION having been made to me to register a dealing affecting Suburban Sections 50, 51, and 52, Awatoto, comprised in certificates of title, Vol. 13, folios 85, 86, and 87, whereof HENRY FAIRBURN BUTCHER, of Napier, Wool-merchant, is the registered proprietor, and evidence having been furnished of the loss of the outstanding duplicates of the said certificates of title, I hereby give notice that I will dispense with the production of the said outstanding duplicate certificates of title, and register the dealing as requested, on the 15th day of August, 1918.

WHAREPAPA ROAD BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Wharepapa Road Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £5,000, authorized to be raised by the Wharepapa Road Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for forming and metalling roads for the first time in the Wharepapa Road District, the said Wharepapa Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-fifth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Wharepapa Road District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 31st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
As Chairman of the above Wharepapa Road Board, I certify that the above resolution making a special rate of 1/5th of a penny in the pound was duly passed at a meeting of the said Board on the 14th day of June, 1918.

PAEROA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
EXTRACT FROM THE MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS AT A MEETING HELD ON THE 21ST DAY OF MARCH, 1918, AT 7.30 P.M.
I N pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Paeroa Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of meeting an adjustment award between the Ohinemuri County Council and the Paeroa Borough Council assessed by the Government Commissioner as compensation on the formation of the Borough of Paeroa, the said Paeroa Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Paeroa; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
The common seal of the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Paeroa was hereto affixed at the office of and pursuant to a resolution of the Paeroa Borough Council, in the presence of—

WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Waitemata County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £375, authorized to be raised by the Waitemata County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the construction and improvement of roads in the Pukeatua Riding of the County of Waitemata, the said Waitemata County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-sixteenth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Pukeatua Riding of the County of Waitemata; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first days of January and July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a resolution of the Waitemata County Council passed at a meeting of the said Council held on the 12th day of July, 1918.
