Land in Wellington Land District declared to be subject to Section 127 of the Land Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the Land Board of the Wellington Land District has recommended that the Crown tenants of the lands enumerated in the Schedules hereto should be afforded relief, owing to exceptional circumstances over which they have no control preventing the profitable occupation of such lands:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section twenty-five of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1911, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare the lands enumerated in the Schedules hereto to be subject to the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-seven of the Land Act, 1908; and I do further fix three years in the case of the lands in the First Schedule and four years in the case of the lands in the Second Schedule, from the dates mentioned in the said Schedules, as the periods for which the said lands shall be exempt from payment of general rates.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the Land Board of the Nelson Land District has recommended that the Crown tenant of the land enumerated in the Schedule hereto should be afforded relief, owing to exceptional circumstances over which he has no control preventing the profitable occupation of such land:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section twenty-five of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1911, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare the land enumerated in the Schedule hereto to be subject to the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-seven of the Land Act, 1908; and I do further fix four years from the date mentioned in the said Schedule as the period for which the said land shall be exempt from payment of rent.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consent of the licensee of the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and of the Cheviot County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land described in the said Schedule; and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, which is not required.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 3 acres 2 roods 36 perches.
Portion of Run 213.
Coloured on plan: Red.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

ROAD CLOSED.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 8 acres 0 roods 30 perches.
Passing through Run 213 and adjoining railway reserve.
Coloured on plan: Green.

All situated in Block I, Cheviot Survey District.
All in the Canterbury Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 21/6,
