THE following result of election of members of a River Board has been received from the Returning Officer, and is published in accordance with the provisions of the River Boards Amendment Act, 1913.

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Marriage Act, 1908, the following names of Officiating Ministers within the meaning of the said Act are published for general information:—

Notice by the Public Trustee under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II), and its Amendments.

To the owner of the following land, that is to say: All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Wellington, containing by admeasurement 2 roods, more or less, being Sections 230 and 281, deposited plan No. 42, Block XVII, Town of Halcombe, and all the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 28, folio 283, Wellington Registry.

The last registered owner of the above land was Isabella Webb, of Wellington, Married Woman, who cannot now be found.

WHEREAS the Public Trustee has instituted inquiries, and has been unable to find the whereabouts of the owner of the above-described land or of any agent of such owner in New Zealand:

Now, the Public Trustee hereby calls upon such owner, within six months of the date of the publication of this notice in this Gazette, to establish to the satisfaction of the Public Trustee her title to the said land; and if she fails or neglects so to do, the Public Trustee will exercise the powers and authorities granted to him in and by the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II), and its amendments.

Unclaimed Property.

WHEREAS by section 89 of the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part III), it is enacted that the Public Trustee shall publish in the New Zealand Gazette, and in some newspaper circulating in the district in which the property is situated, a notice of his intention to exercise the powers conferred on him by virtue of Part III of the said Act:

Now, this is to notify that the Public Trustee is about to exercise, in respect of the estate of THOMAS LAMB, formerly of Whangarei, in the Provincial District of Auckland, Farmer, the powers conferred on him under section 87 of the said Act, by an order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand made at Wellington on the 1st day of February, 1918.

Dated at Wellington this 16th day of July, 1918.
