N.Z. CHAPLAINS DEPARTMENT.
The Rev. T. B. Segrief, Chaplain to the Forces, 4th Class, to be Assistant Principal Chaplain in the N.Z.E.F. for the Roman Catholic Church, vice the Rev. P. J. O’Neill, who relinquishes the appointment on being posted to duty in England. Dated 1st April, 1918.
The undermentioned postings of Chaplains have been approved:—
The Rev. J. A. Jermyn, from N.Z. Base Depot, Etaples, to 1st N.Z. Infantry Brigade.
The Rev. F. D. Briscoe, from N.Z. Command Depot, to N.Z. Base Depot, Etaples.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the appointments, promotions, and resignations of the undermentioned officers of the Royal N.Z. Artillery and Territorial Force, and the reposting of officers from the N.Z. Expeditionary Force to the Territorial Force.
APPOINTMENTS.
Lieut.-Colonel Percival Robert Cook, M.B., N.Z. Medical Corps, is appointed Assistant Director of Medical Services, Wellington Military District. Dated 1st July, 1918.
Captain (temp. Lieut.-Colonel) Mathew Holmes, M.B., relinquishes the appointment of Assistant Director of Medical Services, Wellington Military District, dated 1st July, 1918; and retains the temporary rank of Lieut.-Colonel until further notice.
Lieutenant George Finlay, N.Z. Garrison Artillery, Wellington G.A. Division, is appointed Ship’s Adjutant and Quartermaster on a transport, and is granted the temporary rank of Captain whilst so employed. Dated 7th July, 1918.
2nd Lieutenant (temp.) Robert Norbury, Unattached List (b), General List, is appointed Electrician in Charge in the branch of the Director of Railways and Works. Dated 4th July, 1918.
PROMOTIONS AND RESIGNATIONS.

Hon. Lieutenant Hans Christian Petersen is granted the honorary rank of Captain (temp.) whilst commanding the Field Artillery Cadre at Wellington. Dated 4th July, 1918.
CORPS OF N.Z. ENGINEERS.
N.Z. Railway Battalions, North Island.
Hon. Captain (temp.) Edward Leonard Hornibrook, Assistant Director of Works (Administrative Duties), is granted the temporary rank of Major whilst so acting. Dated 5th July, 1918.
13TH (NORTH CANTERBURY AND WESTLAND) REGIMENT.
Captain Norman Francis Shepherd to be Major, under the provisions of paragraph 111, General Regulations 1913. Dated 28th June, 1918.
Lieutenant Leonard John Wild to be Captain. Dated 28th June, 1918.
15TH (NORTH AUCKLAND) REGIMENT.
2nd Lieutenant Clarence Lawson Lane to be Lieutenant, under the provisions of paragraph 111, General Regulations, 1913. Dated 1st July, 1918.
N.Z. MEDICAL CORPS.
Major Ernest Edward Porritt, M.B., relinquishes his appointment on H.M.N.Z. Hospital Ship “Maheno,” with effect from 19th June, 1918.

Captain (temp.) William Haddow Pettit, M.B., is granted the temporary rank of Major whilst employed in N.Z. Expeditionary Force training camps. Dated 24th June, 1918.
N.Z. DENTAL CORPS.
Lieutenant (temp. Captain) Robert Dickson Elliott is granted the temporary rank of Major whilst acting as Principal Dental Officer, Trentham Camp. Dated 24th April, 1918.

The Reverend William Walter Brown, Chaplain to the Forces, 4th Class, relinquishes his appointment on H.M.N.Z. Hospital Ship “Maheno,” with effect from 25th June, 1918.
The Reverend Arthur Hopper to be Chaplain to the Forces, 4th Class (temp.), whilst employed on H.M.N.Z. Hospital Ship “Maheno.” Dated 19th June, 1918.
N.Z. ARMY NURSING SERVICE.
Sister Ida Grace Willis, A.R.R.C., to be Matron whilst acting as Matron at Featherston Military Hospital. Dated 28th June, 1918.
