lency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare
that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto
shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become
a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of the Tikitiki Road, in the Taranaki Land
District, Waitomo County, commencing at its junction with
the Aramatai Road, and proceeding thence generally in a
south-westerly direction, adjoining or passing through Sec-
tions 3, 72B 3A, and 72B 2, Block III, Mapara Survey Dis-
trict, and terminating at the western boundary of the said
Section 72B 2; being a distance of 2 miles 21 chains, more
or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 44406, deposited in
the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in
the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Portion of Road in Block IX, Benger Survey
District, to be a Government Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this sixteenth
day of July, 1918.

Present :
THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING
IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by
the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers
in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that
the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall,
on and after the date of this Order in Council, become
a Government road.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road declared to be a Go-
vernment road : 1 acre 2 roods 6 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Section 10, Block IX, Benger
Survey District.

In the Otago Land District ; as the same is more par-
ticularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 44407,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works
at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured green.

Declaring Portions of Roads in Block IX, Leaning Rock
Survey District, to be Government Roads.

Extending Prohibition of Alienation of certain Native Lands
other than Alienation in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this sixteenth
day of July, 1918.

Present :
THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING
IN COUNCIL.

ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase
Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-
three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the
power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section,
His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of
the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a
further period of six months the Order in Council dated
the twentieth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and
seventeen, and gazetted the twenty-third day of August,
one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, prohibiting all
alienation of the Native lands (or of any subdivisions
thereof) specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienation
in favour of the Crown.

sixth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and seven-
teen, and gazetted the ninth day of August, one thousand
nine hundred and seventeen, prohibiting all alienation of the
Native lands specified in the Schedule hereto other than
alienation in favour of the Crown.
