THE UNCLAIMED MONEYS ACT, 1908.
COPY of Register on 1st January, 1918, of moneys unclaimed, formerly held by the Bank of New South Wales, in New Zealand, but now being unclaimed moneys, unclaimed in an account. The moneys set forth are extended in the register under protest, and without admission by the bank of any liability so to enter them.

RESOLUTION.
THE following regulations were laid before the members of the Tapanui Racing Club at a meeting held on the 2nd day of June, 1917, at Tapanui, with a recommendation by the Chairman of the Club, Mr. A. McIntyre, that the same be passed at once with a view to their approval by the Governor-General, in pursuance of the Gaming Act, 1908, section 33.
Mr. A. McIntyre, the Chairman of the Club and the General Meeting, moved, and Mr. C. Atkin seconded, and it was resolved, that such regulations should be adopted, and that the Chairman be authorized to sign the same in authentication thereof.
The following are the regulations referred to :-
TAPANUI RACING CLUB.
REGULATIONS.
(Under the Gaming Act, 1908.)
In pursuance and exercise of the powers in that behalf contained in section 33 of the Gaming Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities it enabling in that behalf, the Tapanui Racing Club, a racing club within the meaning of the said Act (hereinafter referred to as the said club), doth hereby make the following regulations controlling the admission of persons to that part of the racecourse situate in the District of Tapanui, and known as the Tapanui Racecourse, while the said racecourse is used or occupied by the said club for race meetings.

In these regulations the words “bookmaker,” “racing club,” and “race meeting” shall have the meanings ascribed to those terms by section 2 of the Gaming Act, 1908.

The following persons shall be and are hereby excluded from the racecourse above described while the same is used or occupied by the said club for a race meeting, namely,—
(a.) Bookmakers.
(b.) All persons under disqualification inflicted by any racing club in the Dominion of New Zealand, the Commonwealth of Australia, or elsewhere, if affiliated to the New Zealand Racing Conference.
(c.) Common prostitutes, and persons who habitually consort with thieves or with persons who have no lawful visible means of support.
The foregoing regulations of the Tapanui Racing Club were made and passed by the members of the Tapanui Club on the 2nd day of June, 1917, and signed by the Chairman and Secretary.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the shareholders of the CONSOLIDATED OILFIELDS OF TARANAKI (LIMITED) held on the 20th day of November, 1917, the following extraordinary resolution was carried :—
“That it is proved to the satisfaction of the company that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same.”
At the meeting HENRY POYNTON BRIDGE, of Christchurch, Accountant, was appointed Liquidator.
