Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.
REGULATION No. 52.
THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Whangara E is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Whangara on Saturday, the 16th day of June, 1917, at 11 o'clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—
“That the Whangara E Block be leased to Ann Fraser, wife of Thomas Fraser, of Gisborne, sheep-farmer, for a term of twenty-one years, without right of renewal or compensation for improvements at a rental equal to 5 per cent. on the present Government up-to-date valuation for the first ten years, and thereafter for the remaining eleven years at 5 per cent. on the amount of a Government valuation to be made in 1927—any improvements effected by the lessee during the first ten years to be excluded from the valuation to be made in 1927.”

REGULATION No. 52.
THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that meetings of the respective owners of the following blocks of land—namely, Hereheretau B Nos. 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, and 7—are summoned and will be respectively held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Wairoa on Wednesday, the 27th day of June, 1917, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering in regard to each block the following proposed resolution :—
“That an offer made by the Crown to purchase the said land or any part thereof shall be accepted.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that meetings of the respective owners of the following blocks of land—namely, Tutaekuri Nos. 1A, 1B, 1C 2, 1C 4A and 1C 4C, 1C 5A, 1C 5B, 1C 6, 1C 13, 1C 15, 1C 16, 1C 17, 1C 18A, and 1C 18B—are summoned and will be respectively held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Wairoa on Wednesday, the 27th day of June, 1917, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering in regard to each block the following proposed resolution :—

THE Maori Land Board for the Tokerau Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Kaikou 3, Lot 18, will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Whangarei on Friday, the 8th day of June, 1917, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—
“ That the said land be sold to John Alexander Finlayson, of Purua, Whangarei, farmer, for the price of £1 10s. per acre.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tokerau Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Maungapohatu North will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Whangarei on Friday, the 8th day of June, 1917, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—
“That the said land be revested in the Native owners.”

REGULATION No. 52.
THE Maori Land Board for the Tokerau Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Makarau 2C will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Helensville on Friday, the 8th day of June, 1917, at 12 o'clock noon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—
“That the said land be sold to James Byrt Jordan (the younger), of Kaukapakapa, farmer, for £1,295, being the amount of the Government valuation thereof.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Waiariki Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Iwiroa No. 2c will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Te Kaha on Wednesday, the 13th day of June, 1917, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—
“That a proposed alienation of the land by way of lease to Tunoa Roihana shall be agreed to.”

“That a proposed alienation of the land by way of lease to Waikura Tautuhiorongo and Herewini Piripi shall be agreed to.”
