Also all that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 12 acres 1 rood, more or less, being part of Rangitoto-Tuhua 60D 2B Block, situated in Block VIII, Tangitu Survey District, bounded towards the east by aforesaid Section 4, 3996·3 links; towards the south-west and west generally by other part of Rangitoto-Tuhua 60D 2B Block aforesaid, 4265 links.

Also all that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres 1 rood 35 perches, being part of Rangitoto-Tuhua 60D 2A 1B, situated in Block VIII, Tangitu Survey District, bounded towards the east and south generally by Section 5, Block VIII aforesaid, 1393·7 links and 800·7 links; towards the west generally by other part of Rangitoto-Tuhua 60D 2A 1B Block aforesaid, 1613·6 links.

Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/300, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the fourth section of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

to be a trustee, in the place of John Allan, who has resigned, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Waikari Public Cemetery, in conjunction with William Henry Turner, William White, Cyril Thomas White, Denis Loucey, Frederick Obed Clothier, and Mark Wright, previously appointed.

Revoking Part of Financial Instructions and Allowance Regulations for the New Zealand Military Forces.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authority conferred on me by the Defence Act, 1909, and its amendments, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke certain regulations made under that Act, and shown in the Schedule hereto; and I do hereby declare that such revocation shall take effect as from the date of publication thereof in the Gazette.


SCHEDULE.

REGULATION No. 41 and Part I of Section V, Financial Instructions and Allowance Regulations of the 11th day of March, 1913, are hereby revoked.

Warrant apportioning the Annual Payments of Interest and Other Charges in respect of a Loan of £175, originally raised by the Waimarino County Council, between the said Council and the Raetihi Town Board.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

WHEREAS by section seventy-three of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, it is, inter alia, provided that where part only of any area over which a special rate is made as security for a loan is merged or included within the district of a local authority other than the local authority that made the rate, then the whole of the liability in respect of the loan shall continue to be a liability of the local authority that raised the loan, but the Governor may, upon the written application of that local authority, by Warrant under his hand, direct that any local authority in whose district part of such area has been merged or included shall pay annually to the first-mentioned local authority during the currency of the loan, on such date as is specified, such amount as he considers a duly proportionate part of the interest and other charges in respect of the loan:

And whereas part of the area over which a special loan of one hundred and seventy-five pounds (in respect of which the inscribed amount is one hundred and seventy-seven pounds eight shillings and fourpence) was raised by the Waimarino County Council to metal Mill Road, Raetihi, has been merged or included in the Raetihi Town District:

And whereas it has been mutually agreed between the Waimarino County Council and the Raetihi Town Board that the amount of four pounds eighteen shillings and elevenpence shall be paid annually by the Raetihi Town Board to the Waimarino County Council as its duly proportionate part of the interest and other charges in respect of the said loan:

And whereas written application has been made by the Waimarino County Council to direct accordingly:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on me by section seventy-three of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, do hereby direct that the Raetihi Town Board shall, in respect of the loan above mentioned, pay annually to the Waimarino County Council, on the first day of March in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, the above-mentioned amount of four pounds eighteen shillings and elevenpence as its duly proportionate part of the interest and other charges payable in respect of the said loan.

PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the two-hundred-and-eighty-eighth section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that

MARGARET JANE MCINTOSH,

being a person holding the office of Postmaster under the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908, at Waikawa, is authorized to take and receive statutory declarations under the two-hundred-and-eighty-eighth section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1908.
