Declaring Portion of the Opotiki-Motu Track, in the Opotiki County, to be a County Road.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this seventh day of May, 1917.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES ALLEN, K.C.B., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of the Opotiki-Motu Track, in the Auckland Land District, Opotiki County, commencing at its junction with the Opotiki-Motu main road, Block VII, Urutawa Survey District, and proceeding thence generally, first south-easterly, and then in a north-easterly direction, adjoining or passing through Whitikau No. 3a Block, Block VII, Urutawa Survey District, and terminating at its junction with the Whitikau Road, at a point on the southern boundary of Section 1, Block VIII, Urutawa Survey District; being a distance of six miles, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 42173, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Wayby Loan Block Roads, in the Rodney County, to be County Roads.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of roads described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county roads.
SCHEDULE.
ALL those portions of roads situate in the Auckland Land District, Rodney County, being road system within that area known as the Wayby Loan Block, Blocks XVI, Otamatea, and VIII and XII, Pakiri Survey Districts. Commencing at the point of junction with formed road being most westerly point of Section 33, Block XVI, Otamatea Survey District; thence in a south-westerly and then south-easterly direction to intersection with new road forming southern boundary of Section 38, Block XII, Pakiri Survey District, a distance of ninety-eight chains. Again commencing at a point being junction with formed road forming western boundary of Section 38, thence south-easterly sixty-three chains to Section 40, both of Block XII, Pakiri Survey District. Again commencing at a point being the most southerly corner of Section 14, Block VIII, Pakiri Survey District, and proceeding in an easterly direction to and past the western boundary of Section 39, Block XII, Pakiri Survey District, a distance of ninety chains. Again commencing at a point being junction of formed road crossing the railway-line on the western boundary of Section 30, Block XVI, Otamatea Survey District; thence in a north-easterly direction to junction with new road first quoted, a distance of thirty chains. As the said roads are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 42155, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.
