WESTPORT BOROUGH COUNCIL.
POLL ON PROPOSAL TO ADOPT THE SYSTEM OF RATING ON THE BASIS OF THE UNIMPROVED VALUE.
In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, the Rating Act, 1908, and the Local Elections and Polls Act, 1908, and the amendments thereof respectively.
HEREBY give public notice that at the poll on the above proposal held on the 25th day of April, 1917, the following votes were recorded : For the above proposal, 467 ; against the above proposal, 345.
I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers for the Borough of Westport held on the 25th day of April, 1917, on the proposal to adopt a system of rating on the basis of the unimproved value, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 467, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 345 ; informal, 30.
I therefore declare the said proposal to be duly carried.

DISSOLUTION OF INDUSTRIAL AND PROVIDENT SOCIETY.
SECTION 15 (c) (v), INDUSTRIAL AND PROVIDENT SOCIETIES ACT, 1908.
ROGER HARTY BOURKE, Registrar of Industrial and Provident Societies for the District of Nelson, hereby give notice that an instrument of dissolution of the MOTUERE FRUITGROWERS (LIMITED), a society registered under the above Act, has this day been registered by me in pursuance of section 15 (c) (iv) of the said Act, and that unless within three months from the 17th day of May, 1917, a member, or any other person interested in or having any claim on the funds of the society, commences proceedings to set aside the dissolution of the society in the Magistrate's Court in or near to Motueka, being the town in which the registered office of the society is situate, and such dissolution is set aside accordingly, the society shall be legally dissolved from the said 17th day of May, 1917, and the requisite consents to the instrument of dissolution shall be considered to have been duly obtained without proof of the signatures thereto.
