✨ Amendment to Order in Council
of New Zealand, in pursuance of the authority conferred on him by
section two of the Regulation of Trade and Commerce Act, 1914, did fix
and determine the maximum price of butter in New Zealand in accord-
ance with the provisions of the Schedule to that Order in Council : And
whereas by clause seven of the said Schedule it is provided that nothing
in the said Order in Council shall apply to butter destined by the pur-
chaser for exportation and not for consumption or use in New Zealand :
And whereas it is further provided by the said clause seven that the term
“‘exportation’” includes shipment as ships’ stores : And whereas it is
desirable that the application of the said Order in Council should be
extended as hereinafter provided :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New
Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by
section two of the Regulation of Trade and Commerce Act, 1914, and of
all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby extend the operation of the hereinbefore-recited
Order in Council in the manner set forth in the Schedule hereto, and
doth hereby declare that this Order in Council shall come into force on
the twenty-eighth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and
seventeen.
SCHEDULE.
The Order in Council hereinbefore referred to shall, notwithstanding
anything to the contrary therein expressed, extend and apply to butter
destined by the purchaser for shipment as ships’ stores for the use of
any vessel belonging to a shipowner all of whose ships are engaged exclu-
sively in the coastal trade of New Zealand.
