APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 1 rood 38·3 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Lots 46 and 47 of 90, situated in Block III.
Coloured on plan: Green.
All situated in the Titirangi Survey District (Waikomiti Parish), Auckland R.D. (S.O. 18917).
All in the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 41699, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this tenth day of March, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seventeen.

Proclaiming Native Land to be Crown Land under Section 374 of the Native Land Act, 1909.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section three hundred and seventy-four of the Native Land Act, 1909 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), and by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, it is provided, inter alia, that on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the said Act the Governor may issue a Proclamation that such land has become Crown land:
And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the said Act:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section three hundred and seventy-four of the said Act, and by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land set out in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land.
SCHEDULE.
WHAKAHUWAKA C No. 7 Block; Approximate area, 683 acres 2 roods 36 perches; Mahoe and Taurakawa Survey Districts.

ALL that part or parcel of land, containing by admeasurement 121 acres 2 roods 1·3 perches, more or less, being portion of Mangatainoka J 4F No. 3 Block, situate in Block II, Mangaone Survey District, Wellington Land District, and being portion of the land contained in Land Transfer certificate of title, Vol. 200, folio 262, Wellington Land Registry. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan lodged in the Land Registry Office, Wellington, as No. 2214 (provisional), and thereon designated Lots 1 and 2.
