Land set apart for Selection.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section sixty-three of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1913, it is, amongst other things, enacted that in no case shall any moneys be expended under the provisions of the said section sixty-three in connection with any block of land, unless that block is set apart for selection under that section pursuant to Proclamation in that behalf:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of every power and authority enabling me in this behalf, and for the purposes of the aforesaid Act, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land described in the Schedule hereto as set apart for selection.


SCHEDULE.

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT.

Tiratu Block.

SECTIONS 9 to 22 (inclusive) and 24 to 44 (inclusive), Block IV, Tahoraiti Survey District: Area, 5,505 acres.

As the same are delineated upon the plan marked L. and S. 5/89, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged pink.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-second day of February, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seventeen.

Setting apart Lands in Canterbury Land District for Leasing as Small Grazing-runs under the Land Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section two hundred and eight of the Land Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the runs mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of sections two hundred and eight to two hundred and twenty-two of Part V of the Land Act, 1908, relating to small grazing-runs.


SCHEDULE.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.—MACKENZIE COUNTY.—
BURKE SURVEY DISTRICT.

SECTION No. 36814, Blocks VI, VII, X, XI, and XV: Area, 7,780 acres.

Section No. 36815, Blocks XI, XII, XV, and XVI: Area, 4,767 acres.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this sixth day of March, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seventeen.

ERRATA.—Mangawara Drainage Board: In the resolutions published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 34, page 762, of the 22nd February, 1917, for “W. G. Gribbin” read “N. G. Gribble.”

In Gazette No. 34, of 22nd February, 1917, page 725, in the Warrant appointing trustees for the Karamea Public Cemetery, for “George Lineham” read “Albert George Lansberry Lineham.”
