In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908; and in the matter of the GOODYEAR TYRE AND RUBBER COMPANY OF AUSTRALASIA (LIMITED).
NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 307 of the Companies Act, 1908, that the Goodyear Tyre and Rubber Company of Australasia (Limited), a company incorporated in Australia, and for some time past carrying on business in New Zealand, will voluntarily cease to carry on business in any part of New Zealand from and after the expiration of three (3) months from this date.

CROMWELL AND BANNOCKBURN COLLIERIES COMPANY (LIMITED).
NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company duly convened and held at the registered office on Thursday, the 15th February, 1917, the following extraordinary resolution was passed :—
“That the company cannot by reason of its financial position continue its business, and that therefore it be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908.”
And at the same meeting WILLIAM THOMAS MONKMAN, of Dunedin, Public Accountant, was appointed Liquidator.

IT is hereby notified that the Partnership hitherto subsisting between ANNIE FERGUSON STUART and ANNIE JEANNIE Bow, carrying on business as Drapers, under the name of “Bow & Stuart,” at Ellerslie, has been dissolved as from 31st January, 1917, by mutual consent, and that the undersigned (Mrs.) A. J. Bow will thereafter carry on the business in her own name and on her own account.
All accounts owing to the firm are to be paid to the said Mrs. A. J. Bow, whose receipt will be sufficient discharge, and all liabilities of the firm will be discharged by her.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between JAMES NEILSON, the Elder, JAMES NEILSON, the Younger, and JOSEPH HENRY VICKERS in the business of Cordial and Aerated-water Manufacturers carried on by them at Caversham, under the style of “Neilson & Vickers,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from this date, and that all accounts due to the late firm are to be paid to the said JAMES NEILSON, the Elder, and JAMES NEILSON, the Younger, and all the liabilities of the said firm will be paid and discharged by them.

MANGAWARA DRAINAGE BOARD.
RESOLUTION PASSED AT A DULY CONSTITUTED SPECIAL MEETING HELD AT THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK, HAMILTON, 15TH DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1917.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Mangawara Drainage Board hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of seven hundred and fifty pounds, authorized to be raised by the Mangawara Drainage Board, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the improving of existing drains and making new ones, the said Mangawara Drainage Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of fourpence in the pound on lands classified “A,” twopence in the pound on lands classified “B,” and one penny in the pound on lands classified “C,” upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Mangawara Drainage Board’s Number One Special-rating Area, comprising all the lands in that special-rating area ; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of April and October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WAITOA DRAINAGE BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.—LOAN OF £5,000.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Waitoa Drainage Board hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £5,000, authorized to be raised by the Waitoa Drainage Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of improving present watercourses and drains, and constructing new watercourses and drains in the Tatuanui No. 2 Special-rating District of the said Waitoa Drainage District, the Waitoa Drainage Board hereby makes and levies a special interest rate on a graduated scale according to the classification list of the lands within the said Tatuanui No. 2 Special-rating District, of one and five-eighths of one penny in the pound on the rateable value of all lands in Class “A,” one and nine-sixteenths of one penny in the pound on the rateable value of all lands in Class “B,” and one and one-half penny in the pound on the rateable value of all lands in Class “C”; all of which classes and the lands therein, together with their rateable values as appearing on the valuation roll of the district, are set out in the classification list of the Tatuanui No. 2 Special-rating District. Such special rates shall be annually recurring rates during the currency of the said loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of April and the first day of October in each and every year during the cur-
