Amending Conditions as to Requisition of New Zealand Wool.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by Proclamation dated the twenty-first day of December,
one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, and published in the
Gazette of the same date, all wool of the present season’s clip in New
Zealand was requisitioned by and on behalf of His Majesty for purposes
of the clothing and equipment of His Majesty’s Forces and for other
purposes of the war: And whereas it is expedient to amend the terms
and conditions set forth in the Schedule to the said Proclamation in the
manner hereinafter set forth :
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and
exercise of all powers and authorities enabling me in that behalf, and
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of
that Dominion, do hereby amend the Proclamation of the twenty-first
day of December, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, hereinbefore
referred to, in the manner set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
- CLAUSE 9 of the Schedule to the said Proclamation is hereby amended
by adding the following words:—
“ The broker shall be at liberty to charge the owner a reasonable sum
for services rendered by him in respect of any wool so rejected, and also
in respect of all wool which for any other reason does not become the
property of His Majesty pursuant to the foregoing provisions of this
Proclamation.”
Clause 11 of the Schedule to the said Proclamation is hereby amended
by inserting, after the words “save so far as hereinbefore expressly
